Final ReflectionThis class has not been my first photography class so I did have some prior knowledge about photography. However, I will admit I did not know how to use Photoshop at all so I definitely learned a lot in that aspect. I have feel like I re-fell in love with photography after this class. I was able to learn more about them and the elements that make a good photo along with better my basic photo taking skills because of all the practice through out the class. I was really able to enjoy taking photos, mainly outside of school. I just felt I had a lot of creative freedom and it really gave me inspiration for the creative projects I have coming up this summer. I look forward to my photo journey to come! My Favorite and First PhotosThese are 2 of the first photos I took for People at the very begging of the class and for some reason I think they are still my favorite! I really enjoy taking pictures of people above everything else. I really like trying to capture there personalities or just make them look there best. Other Photos I Liked

Top Photo (Edited)Top Photo (Original)Top 5 PhotosWhile taking these photos I got the chance to be really extra and make ice cream sundaes! I have not made them this nice in a really long time and I forgot how much fun it was. The bad side of taking photos of ice cream was that I had to work pretty fast because they started to melt... so I had to improvise a little bit and that was also pretty fun. All in all I had a lot of fun taking these photos and I am really happy with how they turned out.
Top Photo (Edited)Top Photo (Original)Top 5 PhotosThis weekend my theme plan changed about 3 times because of my busy schedule during the holiday weekend. So I learned how to improvise just a little. I had to use my Open option just because I did not have the opportunity to take photos of anything else. I stuck to nature again and some other random photos that I thought looked cool.
For this assignment we had to look up our own photoshop tutorials to expand to new themes we had not done in class. Edited Photo (Sketch)Original PhotoEdited Photo (Rustic)Original PhotoEdited Photo (Color Changing)Original PhotoI learned you had to be carful about the types of tutorials you used. Some were videos others articles and each type varied so much it got pretty confusing. I manly used articles because I found several by the same person and they were all set up the same and they were really easy to follow.
For this assignment we had to use photoshop to show the color of only one object or section of the photo. Edited PhotoOriginal PhotoFor this assignment we had to take a Multiple Me photo, were you have multiple images of the same person in the same location, but in different poses around the frame. Photo 1Photo 2during this project I learned you have to get pretty creative with your model. The more open the person is to doing different stuff the more interesting the photo will turn out. I had the opportunity to work with two of my close friends who are equally crazy but have very different personalities. It was really interesting to see each of them take a different approach to the project. Another plus was the stories we made while taking these photos and setting up for them. It was a really fun time.
Top Photo (Edited)Top Photo (Original)Top 5 PhotosFor photo 5 I choose to try the theme of Still Life. I learned you have to get pretty creative with the objects you choose and I also learned that it is not the easiest to find such interesting objects. You have to improvise a little and really use you imagination when choosing objects and when positioning them. You can be limited. So with this theme you really need to plan ahead, I know that for next time.
Top Photo (Edited)Top Photo (Original)Top 5For this assignment I choose the theme of Black & White I wanted a little bit of freedom to take photos of what ever. I learned that not every photo looks good in black & white and that you have to have a an idea of what you think things will look like. I also learned that being outside for even a short amount of time can make a huge difference in how your feeling and taking photos is really relaxing. It's extremely beneficial in my book.
For this assignment we were tasked with taking 5 panoramic shots so we could turn in our best 2. Panorama 1Panorama 2Panorama 3Panorama 4Panorama 5During this assignment I realized just how important having nice weather is. I learn to appreciate it as well. I also learned that its always a good idea to have a backup even if you don't think you need one because (Panorama 5) did not work out the best. It would have been nice if I just had one more...
